Bardzo bliska mi osoba twierdzi, że to wszystko jest “zbyt beżowe”. Rzeczywiście jest to kolor dominujący i być może nie u wszystkich przekłada się na odczuwanie szeroko pojętego piękna. Ale nie można zaprzeczyć, że daje on miastu specyficzny urok, a konsekwencja z jaką zostało zbudowane w tym swoistym stylu robi wrażenie. Amman jest wielkim miastem usytuowanym na górkach i oferuje spory wybór punktów widokowych. Nie mieliśmy dużo czasu, ale serdecznie polecamy wizytę na Cytadeli z niesamowitymi widokami i na lokalnym rynku, która dla szarego europejczyka gwarantuje ciekawe przeżycie.

A person very close to me claims that it is all “too beige”. It is a dominating colour indeed and possibly not everyone’s sense of beauty can be satisfied by it. But one cannot deny that it gives a very specific feel to the city and the continuity of its style leaves a lasting impression. Amman is a very big city placed on many hills and offers an abundance of viewing points. We did not have plenty of time but we recommend visiting the Citadel with amazing views and the local market which for your average European is bound to be an interesting experience.
