Na zewnątrz jeszcze ciemno i nie ma żadnego ruchu, nawet najbardziej znajome miejsca wydają się być jakieś inne. Po krótkiej przejażdżce pustą drogą wzdłuż wzgórza docieramy do jeziora i wsiadamy na naszą łódkę. Podróż przez wodę i mgłę przenosi nas w świat natury i daleko w przeszłość – do momentu, kiedy to jezioro było jeszcze na tyle czyste, że ryby można było spokojnie łowić. Stare chaty rybackie zawieszone nad wodą są teraz idealnym miejscem do obserwacji ptaków i fascynującym obiektem do fotografowania. Moglibyśmy wiele gadać, ale od tego mamy przewodnika. Starożytne ptaki, zabójcze krewetki, lokalna historia i ekstrawagancka willa wyłaniająca się z mgły w oddali.

Outside it’s still dark and everything is still, even the most familiar of places feel somewhat foreign. After a short drive along an uncharacteristically empty hillside road we get to the lake and board our vessel. A journey through water and fog takes us deep in the nature and way back in time, to a moment in history when this lake was unpolluted enough to make fishing very popular. The old fishing huts suspended over the water now make the perfect spot for bird watching and a fascinating subject to photograph. There’s a lot we could say but we have a wildlife guide for that. Ancient birds, killer shrimps, local history and an extravagant villa emerging from the mist in the distance.
